The Yanko sold the 15-month-old Poll Merino ram for $25,000 to Argentinian studs, Cabo Blanco Merinos and Estancia Rio Pico Merinos, at the South West Slopes Merino Field Day at Harden on Tuesday, September 2.
It was the highest price paid for a ram from The Yanko.
Bred from Moorundie Poll W015, the ram, YKO 240973, had a 19.4-micron, 3.0 standard deviation, 15.3 coefficient of variation, 99.6 per cent comfort factor, and Australian Sheep Breeding Values (ASBVs)
