Tennessee junior forward Kate Runyon lifted the No. 5/6 Lady Vols to a 2-0 win at Missouri Thursday night after recording her first-career brace.

With the shutout victory over the Tigers (4-4-1), UT (7-1-1) now has eight clean sheets through nine games on the season and holds a +20 goal differential. Throughout nine matches, Tennessee has had four players register two or more goals in a match.

With a scoreless game through 44 minutes of play, Reese Mattern and Skylar Miller both put shots on goal but Missouri's Kate Phillips made the saves. Runyon then acted swiftly off the rebound after Phillips' save deflected back to her and poked it in the net to break through for the Big Orange.
