A man is facing charges after a team of officers from Washoe County Regional Animal Services was sent to a home in northwest Reno to remove 101 cats. According to city officials, the property on Bowie Road was condemned due to conditions unfit for human occupancy. Regional Animal Services and the Washoe County District Attorney's Office shared new information regarding the investigation. Washoe County officials confirmed tenants at the property were being evicted, and allegedly had repeated violations. The home was under foreclosure before the cats were seized.
