On Monday, Sept. 15, Ford Motor Co. announced that it will move out of its iconic World Headquarters building on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn (known as the "Glass House") and into a new building about a mile west on Oakwood Boulevard and Village Road, across from The Henry Ford. Ford plans to demolish the building by the end of 2027 or middle of 2028 , potentially leaving the site as green space.
