At least 11 people are dead and 24 others are wounded after two separate blasts in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province.

A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a convoy of paramilitary soldiers in Dasht, killing five people, according to officials.

In the second incident, six people were killed and one person was seriously wounded in a blast in Chaman district of Balochistan near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The incident occurred at the Bahawal taxi stand near the border, where explosives in a shop went off.

Wali Kakar of Chaman police told EFE an investigation was underway to determine whether the explosion was caused by remote control or by manual detonation of explosives.
