A man from Plymouth has died at the scene of a crash on the M5. Emergency services were called to the motorway near Willand at around 11.10pm on Thursday, September 18 where four vehicles had collided .
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 30s from Plymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
A man in his 40s from Cullompton has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody. Four other people were taken to hospital following the crash and none of their injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
