It’s a bird, it’s a plane… it’s “Superman” on HBO Max!

On the heels of the announcement that “Man of Tomorrow,” a sequel to 2025’s “Superman,” is officially on its way, James Gunn’s “Superman” movie has made its way to HBO Max. Beginning today, Sept. 17, the movie is available to all HBO Max subscribers .

The latest “Superman” to hit theaters, the movie reboots the character without serving as a true origin story. Instead, viewers are dropped into the story and introduced to a new Superman (David Corenswet, replacing Henry Cavill ), who has already been serving the people of Metropolis for three years when the film begins.
