As you’ve likely heard by now, Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC on Wednesday.

The network made the decision after being threatened by the FCC, who urged both parent company Disney and local ABC affiliate owners to take action after Kimmel made a joke about the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s murder.

At first, it looked as though some of Kimmel’s most trusted allies planned to remain silent about his shocking suspension.

The panelists on The View made no mention of their network’s decision, and fellow late night host Jimmy Fallon abruptly canceled a gig , seemingly so that he wouldn’t be forced to discuss the Kimmel controversy.

On his Thursday night broadcast, however, Fallon broke his silence on the topic of his friend’s suspension.
