Azure Acres, a large drug recovery center near Sebastopol, is slated for closure next month, according to the facility’s corporate owner.
The site, on a roughly 30-acre property off wooded Green Hill Road, is no longer taking new patients and will close in early October. The recovery center is owned by Acadia Healthcare, a publicly traded, for-profit corporation.
The facility is licensed for 54 beds, according to state records.
“This decision followed a careful and comprehensive review of the current landscape for the programs and services offered by the facility,” Acadia Healthcare said in a Sept. 10 email to The Press Democrat.
