Taylor Swift is returning to theaters, the superstar announced Friday, confirming The Hollywood Reporter ‘ s previous reporting. The news comes just weeks before the superstar is set to release her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.

After the initial publication of this story, Swift revealed at 12:12 p.m. ET (fitting for Swift’s 12th album) an official release party for The Life of a Showgirl , which will only be in theaters October 3 through October 5, timed for the release of Swift’s new studio album that drops on Friday, Oct. 3. The movie theater release party will feature the world premiere of the music video for Showgirl single “The Fate of Ophelia.” Tickets will be $12.
