Leslie Perlera Gonzalez, an attorney with Greater Boston Legal Services, said Wednesday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) officers smashed her husband's truck window while trying to arrest him.

Maggie Morgan, managing attorney of the immigration unit at Greater Boston Legal Services, told Newsweek in a Friday email that Perlera Gonzalez has "sponsored him through an I-130 relative petition so that he can regularize his status."

According to ICE's detainee locator, Edgar Hernan Elias Escobar, of El Salvador , is being held at Plymouth County Correctional Facility.
