CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Clemson is moving forward with plans for a large mixed-use, multi-family development.
City Council approved a second and final reading of the Varsity Club III project.
The development will cover 17 acres of vacant land adjacent to the existing Varsity Club. The plans include 208 apartment-style dwellings and 44 townhomes.
A portion of the land will also be dedicated to a public park.
The second reading was approved on Sept. 3.
