A man has died at a Plymouth property after police received reports of concern for his welfare.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Connaught Avenue in Mutley at around 11am on Friday morning, September 19. A cordon was put in place , closing off the road.
Now, officers have confirmed that the man was confirmed dead at the scene. The death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We were called at around 11am today [19 September] to the area of Connaught Avenue, Plymouth, following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Sadly, the man was confirmed deceased at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to inform his next of kin. The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
