Providence will spend its last day of 2025 hosting the defending women’s basketball national champions.
The Friars welcome Connecticut on New Year’s Eve at Amica Mutual Pavilion, one of the highlights in a conference schedule that was announced Friday morning.
Providence met the Huskies downtown last year, its first game at that venue since 2010. UConn raced to a 77-40 victory over the Friars, its 38 th straight in the series.
