A commuter has been arrested after video showed a woman being violently shoved off a Boston bus.

The disturbing incident took place in the afternoon of Sept. 8 in the city’s Roxbury neighbourhood, about 5 km from Fenway Park.

Video captured by another rider shows the woman standing by the front door of the bus as another woman on her cellphone and with a baby stroller can be heard repeatedly telling her, “Get off the bus.”

The stroller woman is then seen shoving the victim’s shopping cart out the open door before attempting to push the woman, who holds onto the door refusing to be budged.

That’s when the stroller woman forcefully shoves the victim out the door as other passengers gasp, while those outside the bus try to help the victim.
