Barry Ferguson has hit back at Brendan Rodgers' rebuke over criticism of Russell Martin and told him he has enough problems at Celtic to worry about. ‌

Rodgers leapt to the defence of rival boss Martin , who has come under heavy fire after slipping to tenth in the table and nine points behind Celtic and Hearts following last Saturday's home defeat to the Jambos. ‌

The Ibrox hierarchy insist they are sticking by their man for now, although there are fan protests planned for before this weekend's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final with Hibs. ‌

Gers chief Andrew Cavenagh has also jetted in from the States and will see for himself the strength of feeling if David Gray's side make it another uncomfortable Ibrox afternoon for Martin and his players.
