MILL CREEK, W.Va. (WBOY) — Residents near Mill Creek in Randolph County are "really hurting" as water sources begin to dry up from the extreme drought.
As of an update Thursday, Randolph County along with parts of Webster and Upshur counties, are in an extreme drought, while most of the rest of the state is in moderate drought.
According to the Town of West Milford, the town is "dire need of water" and residents with wells and cisterns on the outskirts of town are "really hurting."
"They have no water source from their wells going dry. They can not water their livestock, water their pets, do laundry, take a bath or shower or even get a drink of water!" the town said in a social media post.
