Now, Vancouver's two professional soccer teams will be doing battle in BC Place next month for the national crown.

Langley-based Vancouver Football Club (VFC) walked away defeated from the second semifinal game against the Atletico Ottawa Thursday night, but they walked right into the history books.

Despite losing their second game – by the score of 1-0 – VFC still held an aggregate 3-2 victory over their rivals, securing them a semifinal win and landing them in the finals Oct. 1 against their MLS rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps.
