HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Some educators believe technology can be a bad thing, especially for younger students.

Technology is a part of a child’s education, but some schools are making changes to find balance.

“From the things I’ve read, it releases dopamine in your brain. We are looking at that also. The answer is yes. We are concerned about it. If you read all the literature, you see that the touch screens are probably the most addictive,” said Dr. Alan Bookman, Glastonbury superintendent.

Children are using iPads with touch screens, and that’s what Dr. Alan Bookman believes can be addicting.

Teachers have their own concerns about technology.
