Atlanta Falcons backup quarterback Kirk Cousins reportedly has a dwindling market, despite several teams already dealing with significant injuries, according to multiple reports.
The Athletic 's James Palmer suggested that there's questions around the NFL about whether Cousins' skills have diminished during a recent episode of his Scoop City podcast.
“There were some people around the league that I talked to that think Kirk Cousins is essentially done,” Palmer said. “I don’t know if that’s a universal thought or not, so it has to be the right team that doesn’t think that.”
Cousins opened up about the Falcons' decision to draft Michael Penix Jr . at No. 8 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft during an episode of the Netflix docuseries Quarterback , which also chronicled
