U.S. Rep. Andy Barr's Senate campaign has sent a cease and desist letter to Club for Growth and Win It Back, two conservative PACs that oppose his run for Senate.

The letter is centered around a recent ad accusing Barr of having backed legislation that would fund gender-affirming care for minors. Barr's campaign says the ad is false and "defamatory."

Club for Growth and Win It Back have not endorsed any Republican in the Kentucky U.S. Senate primary, which includes Barr along with Daniel Cameron and Nate Morris.
