TROY — While walking on 3rd Street in Troy on a recent Saturday afternoon, heading home from the farmers' market, I passed a meadery — and quickly realized I should add a few medieval brews from to the Pint-Sized collection.

The shop was just opening at noon as I walked in behind a regular customer who was happily greeted by bartender India Roy. Roy advised the regular on his purchase and asked how she could help me. I explained the Pint-Sized mission, and she gladly shared with me the Helderberg Meadworks' story.
