The Michigan State football team will try to remain unbeaten when it plays its Big Ten opener against Southern California at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.

The game is scheduled to start at 11:05 p.m. ET.

The Spartans (3-0) are coming off a 41-24 win over Youngstown State on Sept. 13 in East Lansing. USC (3-0) is coming off a 33-17 win at Purdue, also on Sept. 13.

This will be ninth all-time meeting between MSU and USC, with the series tied at four wins apiece. The Spartans won the last game between the teams, 17-16, in the 1990 John Hancock (Sun) Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
