A father and son duo who have run hot air balloon businesses across two continents, continue to bond over their love for the unique mode of transport and continue to enter competitions around the world .
When Graeme Scaife, 78, first saw two hot air balloons flying over his house in England in 1985, he thought they looked "amazing".
And although it wasn't legal to take passengers commercially on hot air balloon flights in England until a few years later, Graeme still ordered a balloon and ended up learning to pilot it.

"I got hooked up by it," he said.
And now, the father has over 4,000 hours flying balloons under his belt and ran a successful company in England as soon as commercial flights became permitted.
