Lorraine's editor Victoria Kennedy has revealed she's stepping down from her position at ITV as the broadcaster implements sweeping budget reductions. ‌

Victoria will depart following the upcoming series, bringing her eight-year tenure to a close. ‌

Breaking the news via LinkedIn on Friday (19 September), the editor informed her followers that her stint with Lorraine was drawing to a conclusion. ‌

This development follows the unveiling of plans for substantial budget slashes across ITV's daytime programming.

Under the cost-cutting measures, both Loose Women and Lorraine will broadcast for just 30 weeks annually, instead of the year-round schedule they previously maintained, reports the Mirror .
