HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Family and Social Services Administration Division of Family Resources is working with SNAP retailers, EBT processors and federal partners to combat SNAP fraud by card skimming or card cloning. As part of the efforts, officials are reminding SNAP benefit members they have the ability to lock and unlock their EBT card if they believe they are at risk of having benefits stolen.
SNAP holders in Indiana can lock and unlock their card through the online portal here. Officials also remind members that SNAP benefits cannot be replaced, and advised not letting anyone outside of their households know their card's PIN.
