Edinburgh High School canceled its homecoming football game against Milan just hours before kickoff on Friday.
Edinburgh posted on its Facebook page: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s Homecoming Football game and all related Homecoming activities, are canceled for tonight.”
There was no other information provided on the reason for the cancellation. It's unknown how the result of the game will be recorded. Edinburgh and Milan are in the Mid-Indiana Conference. The Lancers (1-3) won their first game of the season last week, 18-16 over the home school Southside Crimson Knights.
Messages seeking comment from Edinburgh principal Kevin Rockey and football coach Tyler DeSpain were not immediately returned.
