The Los Angeles Police Department collected "several items of evidence" during a search warrant at a home reportedly tied to Houston-raised singer d4vd as part of its investigation into the death of a 15-year-old girl found in his car earlier this month.
A spokesperson for LAPD confirmed to Houston Public Media on Thursday that detectives from its robbery-homicide division conducted a search warrant for a West Hollywood home in connection with the death of Celeste Rivas.
"Several items of evidence were recovered and will be analyzed by detectives in the coming days," an LAPD spokesperson said.
Representatives for d4vd could not be reached for comment.
