The Cleveland VegFest, hosted by the Cleveland Vegan Society, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at Lincoln Park at 1200 Starkweather Ave. in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood.
The VegFest will offer an opportunity for attendees to see the benefits of veganism and to explore how veganism can fit into one’s daily life through the local plant-based food vendors, artisans, makers, merchants, nonprofit organizations and animal sanctuaries. The event also aims to encourage awareness, education and access to information about environmental sustainability, healthier lifestyle choices through plant-based eating and ending animal agriculture.
Admission is free, with a $5 donation suggested. To apply to be a vendor or to sign up to volunteer, visit clevelandvegansociety.org.
