NELSON COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Lumberjack Classic returned to Devils Backbone Brewing Company for its fifth year. The tournament starts Friday afternoon and continues into Saturday, making a weekend dedicated to the unique timbersports competition.

Scooter Cogar, a professional lumberjack and competitor, said that about 6,000 people come to Devils Backbone each year to watch lumberjacks and lumberjills compete in woodchopping events with axes and saws.
