SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be looking to get their first win of season when rival Purdue comes to South Bend on Saturday afternoon.
So far, Notre Dame has lost to two top 25 opponents, with both games being decided by just one score. In fact, Notre Dame has only been outscored by a total of four points so far this year.
But when those are both losses, that’s where the problems start.
The Irish defense has been the main piece that’s struggled, as it has allowed 68 points.
The Irish, who are considered a heavy favorite against Purdue, are hoping to get their season back on track.
