PEPPER PIKE, Ohio -- Orange Community Education and Recreation (OCER) has been granted accreditation by the Commission for the Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA).

This prestigious recognition was awarded during the National Parks and Recreation Association’s Best of the Best ceremony Wednesday (Sept. 17) at the association’s annual conference in Orlando, Fla.

CAPRA accreditation is the only national accreditation for park and recreation agencies and serves as a vital measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management and service to the community, according to a news release from OCER.

This accreditation formally recognizes OCER’s commitment to excellence and demonstrates that the agency meets national standards of best practice, the news release stated.
