INDIANAPOLIS -- An arrest warrant has been issued for an alleged street racer who left the scene of a crash on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 465 after driving 114 miles per hour before colliding with another driver.

According to court documents, Shawn Bivens has been preliminarily charged with Criminal Recklessness committed with a Deadly Weapon (Level 6 Felony), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (Class A Misdemeanor) and Reckless Driving causes Bodily Injury (Class A Misdemeanor).

Initial investigation into 'reckless driving'

According to a probable cause affidavit that was filed in Marion County on Thursday, an Indiana State Police trooper responded to a reported crash on July 6 on I-465 EB near the 51.1 mile marker.
