OTSEGO, Mich. (WOOD) — Faced with declining numbers since the pandemic, a music venue and a restaurant in Otsego are both closing.

Liquid Note and Maude's Taphouse will close after the Otsego Creative Arts Festival later this month, Mark and Linda McPherson announced on social media. Before it closes, Liquid Note will be hosting concerts Friday and Saturday and will offer live music from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the festival on Sept. 27.

Both of businesses have seen declines in revenue as COVID-19 caused "a major shift in people's attitudes towards going out," Mark McPherson said.
