ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons made some roster moves on Friday, releasing its kicker Younghoe Koo and adding Parker Romo to the active roster.

The move comes after Koo has struggled in recent years, including missing a game-tying field goal in Week 1 this season.

Last week, the Falcons signed Parker Romo to the practice squad and brought him to Minnesota for the Vikings game. Koo stayed back in Atlanta.

Romo went 5/5 in field goals and 1/1 in PATs. He accounted for 16 of the Falcons' 22 points in Sunday's win.

Romo, a Peachtree City native, appeared in four games for the Minnesota Vikings last year. The kicker's pro football career started with the New Orleans Saints after the 2022 NFL Draft. Other teams he spent time with include the Detroit Lions in 2023 and the Chicago Bears from 20
