STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It’s going to be a festive weekend in New York City.

Numerous parades and festivals are scheduled to take place across the city this Saturday and Sunday. As such, various city roadways will be closed to vehicle traffic.

Among the events scheduled to take place this weekend is the continuation of the 99th Annual Religious Feast of San Gennaro Festival. The weekend will also feature an assortment of parades, including the Annual Mexican Day Parade, which will take place in Manhattan.

As noted in an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of police.
