Body lice were found at the University of Maryland

Some University of Maryland students say they're disgusted and worried after body lice were discovered inside at least two buildings on the College Park campus.

Pest control teams were working Friday afternoon to inspect all buildings on the campus after reports of the bugs.

So far, they have found evidence of the body lice on the fourth floor of the McKeldin Library and inside a bathroom at Kirwan Hall, the university said.

"I thought it was disgusting and I did not want to go to the library,” one student told News4.

“[I'm] a little disgusted and, like, scared. I'm kind of, like, paranoid where I can sit,” another student said.

Some said they thought the school didn't communicate about the problem quickly enough.

“
