ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the teens facing murder charges after police said a drug deal turned deadly made his first appearance in court. Albuquerque police said Austin Olimb admitted to shooting and killing 17-year-old Angelo Tafoya Tuesday night at an apartment on Tramway Blvd. near Copper Ave.

Investigators said Olimb and Tafoya were negotiating a deal to exchange marijuana for a gun when Olimb opened fire. Police said another teen conspired with Olimb to rob Tafoya. He is also facing murder charges.
