Hockey is back in Sault Ste. Marie, and the Greyhounds are set to open their season on home ice against the Saginaw Spirit.
The Hounds enter the campaign with higher expectations after a year of growth for its core players. While they’ll start the season without NHL campers Brady Martin (NSH), Marco Mignosa (TBL), Travis Hayes (PIT), and Landon Miller (DET), the team is high on their incoming crop of young talent, including Callum Croskery, Noah Laus, Ryan Kaczynski, and Quinn McKenzie.
All eyes will be on how goaltender Noah Tegelaar handles the bright lights of opening night in place of Miller.
On the other side, the Spirit are also in a holding pattern as they wait with bated breath on the futures of stars Michael Misa (SJS) and Zayne Parekh (CGY). They’ll also be without Carson
