LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A new kind of classroom on wheels is rolling through Lynchburg.

Lynchburg City Schools unveiled its first student-designed and operated food truck, The Lunchburg Express .

The program allows Career and Technical Education students at Heritage and E.C. Glass High Schools to manage every aspect of the roving business, from designing menus and branding to preparing and serving food.

“It’s kind of like surreal, like seeing the actual food truck, because you keep hearing rumors about it… but actually seeing it in person is like really, really awesome,” said E.C. Glass student Kennady Robinson.
