Michigan State will apparently have a pair of offensive starters back for its road opener.

Star receiver Nick Marsh and leading rusher Makhi Fraizer have both been medically cleared and are expected to play for the Spartans at USC on Saturday, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Friday.

Both suffered leg injuries in last week’s 41-24 win against Youngstown State and didn’t finish the game. Coach Jonathan Smith on Monday said they would be evaluated at the end of the week.

Marsh, who set true freshman receiving records for the Spartans (3-0) last year, remains their biggest threat in the passing game. He leads the team with 16 catches for 194 yards and three touchdowns despite missing the entire second half last week.
