SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - For the fourth year, the Sarasota Sailing Squadron is hosting its Spectrum Sailing Camp to help people and kids with autism and disabilities get out and enjoy a couple of days on the water.
The mission behind this camp is to make sailing, an activity that can be hard to access, available to everyone.
The Sailing Squadron dock located in Sarasota Bay launched their boats with seven guests and a handful of volunteer boat captains on Friday, September 19. The camp runs through Sunday, Sept. 21.
