MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Two Cleveland men, 22 and 32, were arrested Sept. 14 after police found a loaded 9mm handgun in one of their cars, which were parked outside Olive Garden, 17500 Bagley Road.

Police on patrol had noticed a Pontiac G6 turn into the parking lot of Speedway, just west of Olive Garden, at about 4 p.m.

The car then headed into the Olive Garden parking lot next door and stopped in front of a Ford sedan.

Police, using binoculars, looked at the Pontiac’s license plate number and learned that the car’s registration had expired in January 2024.

The Pontiac’s driver, later identified as the younger Cleveland man, stepped out of the car and jumped into the Ford’s front passenger seat.

The older Cleveland man was sitting behind the steering wheel.
