ATLANTA — Former State Judge Penny Brown Reynolds is launching a campaign to be the next Secretary of State in Georgia.
The Democrat shared the news Thursday, saying she will hold statewide kickoff events in October.
Brown Reynolds has an extensive background in law and public service. Outside of serving as a state judge, some of her accomplishments include being a lawyer to former Gov. Roy Barnes and a 2022 appointment to serve in a senior staff position under the U.S Department of Agriculture in the nation's capital.
