LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Clark County District Attorney’s Office is seeking to transfer a male juvenile charged in connection with a series of sophisticated network intrusions at Las Vegas casinos to the criminal division to be prosecuted as an adult, according to a Friday, Sept. 19, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department news release.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, a male teenager turned himself into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center after he was identified as a suspect.
He was booked and charged with three counts of obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person to harm or impersonate person; one count of extortion; one count of conspiracy to commit extortion; and one count of unlawful acts regarding computers.
