A small town is facing a big problem.

The relatively new playground in Farmington, Delaware, has been shut down after it was repeatedly hit by vandals.

"It's really sad. Kids don't have nothing to do anyways, so it's really sad," one neighbor said. "It's a shame. I hope they get caught."

The playground and its basketball court has seen vandals leave empty liquor bottles and broken equipment in their wake.

"It's crazy. Probably some young kids or something doing some nonsense shouldn't be like this honestly," Farmington resident Troy Creed said.

Local police officers will swing by when they get calls but so far, no one has been arrested.
