BARRE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Vermont's Attorney General's Office said Friday that a man has been charged with multiple felonies.

Bryant Keene, 36, of Barre, has been charged with offenses relating to promoting a recording of child sexual conduct and possession of child sexual abuse material, as well as one count of animal cruelty.

According to investigators from VT-ICAC, the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Keene was identified as having shared illegal images on Kik, a messaging platform.

He pleaded not guilty at an arraignment Friday, and the Attorney General's Office wishes to note that people charged with crimes are innocent until proven guilty.
