PIKE COUNTY, Indiana — State police pulled over a tractor driver in southern Indiana Thursday evening and later arrested him for OWI and resisting.
According to Indiana State Police, around 9:34 p.m. on Sept. 18, an ISP trooper pulled over a John Deere tractor that was pulling a yard trailer along 4th Street in Petersburg after the driver allegedly disregarded a stop sign. Police say the tractor also did not have any taillights.
The tractor driver was identified as 40-year-old Joshua Brames of Petersburg. Police say Brames appeared impaired, but allegedly refused field sobriety tests.
That's when, police say, Brames got down from the tractor and began to flee on foot. The responding trooper quickly caught Brames, who was reportedly still uncooperative and refused to submit to a chemical
