MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WFSB) - The city of Middletown dedicated a field to a state representative that was killed in a crash in January of 2023.

The field between Beman Middle School and the Middletown Rec Center is now named the Quentin “Q” Williams Field.

State Representative Quentin Williams was one of two people killed in a fiery wrong-way crash in Cromwell on Jan. 5, 2023.

“I believe this field brings a smile to Q’s face,” said Mayor Gene Nocera, (D) Middletown. “Q was more than just a public servant. He was a friend, a husband, a son, a champion for justice and equity in the community.”
