SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -After nearly a decade at Springfield Public Schools, Dr. Travis Shaw will retire next year.
Shaw has been with the district since 2017 and has been the deputy superintendent of operations since 2023.
The district says Shaw has supervised the use of more than $388 million in bonds over the last six years.
In April, Shaw was placed on paid administrative leave. At the time, the district could not discuss why.
Shaw’s last day is June 30, 2026.
